I'm taking this class, Monte Carlo Method in Financial Engineering, and I absolutely love/loathe it. The workload is unbelievable.. for a 2 credit class.. i pulled 3 all nighter to finish one assignment (that worths like 10%?) However its amazing to see how some quant skill i developed could be implemented in option pricing, especially in exotic option where blackscholes isnt sufficient. You know what... I already gave up drinking. I also gave up majority of seafood (shellfish.) Now I'm tryin not to have too much beef (i used to love kalbi chim..) of course, i do not have mango or heaty fruits anymore. I've a friend who even gave up mushroom. lol. Drinking.. just for the sake of tasting.. is ok. Did you not drink wine at all in Paris? You should have. haha. Finance classes in the UK..
